Crime Victimization and Political Behavior: Evidence from Mexico

This talk will address the relationship between crime victimization and political behavior and whether being a victim of crime impacts citizens’ engagement in institutional and extra-institutional politics in different ways. The main argument is that victimization does not necessarily lead to lower political engagement but rather diversifies the channels through which citizens engage politically.

We will go to the pub afterwards 🙂
